Instructions for use
- Always start with an epoxy resin primer to avoid high material loss and bubble formation (layer thickness: 0,5mm). For this, simply use one part of the same clear epoxy resin. Alternatively, you can use our PRO epoxy resin system for the priming. The PRO system has the advantage that it is designed for thinner layers and cures within 16-24 hours.
- Mix the contents of the resin (A) with the contents of the hardener (B) in the mixing ratio 2:1 (e.g. 2kg resin: 1kg hardener).
- Run the stirring stick along the rim and bottom of the mixing container, as material settles there. Ideally pour the mixture into a clean container and mix again. This ensures that resin (A) and hardener (B) are fully mixed.
- Apply the epoxy resin primer with a foam roller or a brush to the desired surface.
- Allow the primer to cure. The curing time varies depending on temperature and layer thickness. Please refer to our information table under the info button “Learn more” on this product page.
- Proceed with the main coating in the same way. If you select a colour on this product page, you will receive dyes or colour pigments in addition to the resin and hardener.
- To colour the main coating, mix the dyes or colour pigments supplied with the resin (A) or with the resin-hardener mixture. Adjust the colour intensity by adding more or less pigments to suit your preference.
